i finished the game on steam last night and i think i enjoyed the game a bit too much as i am now obsessed over the characters and wish i could see more of them. thats probably the one thing i hate about all forms of media in general, the fact that after its over i wont get to see the characters again in any meaningful way no matter how much i wish i could.
i dont know why but i keep checking this post for a reply as if you're suddenly going to say "maybe who knows" or something, i cant tell if thats my adhd or if my brain is actually that desperate for more purrgatory escapism lmao

I really love this! Such a great story, lots of funny moments, and it's overflowing with charm. The writing is so good! The characters were really colourful (pun intended) too. You can feel the love poured into this. Honestly I'm floored by the whole experience, I just know this game's gonna stay on my mind for a while. Awesome work!

When i first played this on a diffrent website a few months ago, I loved it and now I'm glad to see it get the recognition it deserves it really is amazing. I'm excited to finish the game

Hence why the face of purrgatory (Kyungsoon) is Korean-American like me. But I have to admit I've just done the bare minimum. Maybe my next game should have an Armenian protagonist :)

I just finished the game and holy shit, I feel so emotional and I hate it. Thank you for making this game. I really REALLY relate to Natalie so she ended up being my favorite character. Generally a well written game and very interesting characters.
I love this game a lot. It's actually favorite game despite the absolute rage I've felt playing it. I just love it so much. I honestly can't even express my undying love for this game. I want to say thank you for making it because it made me honestly cry. I love it so much.
i work a boring customer service job so i'm always looking for new games with interesting stories to kill time. this one was awesome! i was impressed by the versatility of art styles (the main one, the end one, and the poetry/writing was also very nice!)
i'm curious, was kyungsoon meant to be a trans character? at one point she mentions being the perfect son to her parents or something so i was curious about that. also as someone who almost died from alcohol poisoning myself i was fascinated by the dark reveal of her cause of death, she was my favorite character. really unique and entertaining game and loved the lgbt representation
absolutely incredible game, my girlfriend and I just binged it and we loved it! she's actually shedding tears over that ending, and I don't blame her. tysm for the game (especially the puns)

I've never been good at any kind of game, therefore the only games I ever really play are the ones he^ makes me play (cough cough, Minecraft) but I played Purrgatory at MOPOP in Seattle, and immediately knew I had to play it. I've read through several comments, so I know you don't need to be told all again about the amazing character development or phenomenal intrigue and pull into the game— but what really pulled it together for me, what really made me sob after finishing the game— *SPOILER FOR ANYONE STILL PLAYING* was all the great representation. The line in heaven that Sean says, about his neighbor back when he was with Dani, and proving him wrong brought me to tears. Like, that all these characters who aren't straight, cis, or flawless, still get to go to heaven really meant a lot to me, and I'm sure to everyone else who also is on the LGBTQ+ spectrum. I do have just a clarification question though— when Natalie was talking about Nocturnal being "the closest thing she'd ever get to a baby", is this because she is either aromantic or asexual? Were there any other conversations I missed with her that might say anything else about that, if so? Over the past few years, I've tried looking high and low for some good asexual representation, and that really warmed my heart— even if it wasn't the intended purpose. Anyways— I know this comment is way too long, but thank you thank you THANK YOU for this game. And the amazing song "Purrgatory Blues", I've been listening to it nonstop since I heard it in the credits. (I still tear up if I think too hard when listening to it)
